HEARING/ORDINANCE: FIRST READING - CITY COUNCIL

 

9. A. CONSIDERATION OF A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR AMENDMENTS TO THE HEALTH AND WELLNESS ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN AND TO TITLE 24 OF THE LA MESA MUNICIPAL CODE RELATED TO THE KEEPING OF DOMESTIC POULTRY IN RESIDENTIAL ZONES, PROJECT NO. 2019-18;


B. CONSIDERATION OF A resolution approving A General Plan Amendment to revise Health and Wellness ELEMENT Policy HW-2.1.5 to allow for the keeping of poultry, excluding roosters, in all residential zones; AND

Staff recommends the Council adopt (1) the Resolution adopting the Negative Declaration for Amendments to the Health and Wellness Element of the General Plan and to Title 24 of the La Mesa Municipal Code related to the keeping of domestic poultry in Residential Zones, Project No. 2019-18; and (2) the Resolution approving a General Plan Amendment to revise Health and Wellness Element Policy HW-2.1.5 related to the keeping of poultry, Project No. 2019-18.

C. CONSIDERATION OF AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA MESA AMENDING LA MESA MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 24.05.020.D2 RELATED TO THE KEEPING OF CHICKENS IN R2 AND R3 ZONES, PROJECT NO. 2019-18
