9. A. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA MESA ADOPTING AMENDMENTS TO TITLE 24 (ZONING) OF THE LA MESA MUNICIPAL CODE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF ACCESSORY DWELLING UNITS (ADU) IN ACCORDANCE WITH CALIFORNIA GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 65852.2

B.  AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA MESA ADOPTING AMENDMENTS TO TITLE 24 (ZONING) OF THE LA MESA MUNICIPAL CODE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF JUNIOR ACCESSORY DWELLING UNITS (JADU) IN ACCORDANCE WITH CALIFORNIA GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 65852.22

Staff recommends the Council find that the proposed amendments are consistent with the General Plan and approve the introduction and first reading of the Ordinances to amend Title 24 of the La Mesa Municipal Code to update (1) existing regulations for Accessory Dwelling Units (ADU); and (2) existing regulations for Junior Accessory Dwelling Units (JADU) in compliance with California Government Code Sections 65852.2 and 65852.22, as those Sections were modified by SB 13, AB 68, and AB 881.

10. CONSIDERATION OF A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A LICENSE APPLICATION FEE FOR THE CO-LOCATION OF COMMERCIAL ADULT-USE CANNABIS BUSINESSES WITH MEDICINAL CANNABIS BUSINESSES APPROVED UNDER MEASURE U AS AUTHORIZED BY LA MESA MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 6.11.080

Staff recommends the Council adopt the Resolution establishing a license application fee for the application and licensing process for co-location of commercial adult-use cannabis businesses with approved Measure U medicinal cannabis facilities in the amount of $4,383 to recover the full cost of the license application review and approval process.

11.
