7. SELECTION OF A CERTIFIED FARMERS’ MARKET OPERATOR AND SPONSOR AND APPROVAL OF THE SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT APPLICATION FOR THE LA MESA VILLAGE FARMERS’ MARKET

Staff recommends Council provide direction on the selection of a certified Farmers’ Market operator and sponsor and approve the special event permit application for the La Mesa Village Farmers’ Market for one year.

8. UPDATE ON THE DRAFT COMMUNITY CHOICE AGGREGATION FEASIBILITY STUDY

Staff recommends Council (1) receive and file the presentation on the draft Community Choice Aggregation Technical Feasibility Study for the cities of Chula Vista, La Mesa, and Santee; and (2) direct staff to return to Council with the final Community Choice Aggregation Technical Feasibility Study and the findings from the governance analysis.
