National Night Out

Tuesday, August 6, from 6—8 p.m., residents in neighborhoods throughout La Mesa are asked to spend the evening outside with your neighbors and police. While the traditional “lights on” and front porch vigils remain a part of National Night Out, activities have expanded to include a variety of events such as block parties, potlucks, and cookouts. Members of the La Mesa Police Department and City officials will meet with these groups to share information and field questions about neighborhood and city concerns. Please register your neighborhood with the police department if you plan on participating to ensure a team visit! Call 619-667-7545.

We will also display our police vehicles and a Heartland fire truck. The public will also be able to take guided tours of the La Mesa Police Department.
