- Senior Lunch Program
Come to socialize and eat lunch, or pick up a meal to take home and enjoy later. All lunches include a take-home breakfast for the next day.
Designed in partnership with a Registered Dietitian, Serving Seniors' meals provide one-third of an older adult’s nutrition requirements and accommodate a wide variety of dietary needs including low-sodium and low-fat diets. Unlike similar programs, Serving Seniors never charges a fee, ensuring that no senior, regardless of income, ever goes hungry. Lunches are open to all residents of San Diego County.
Parking lot is located off University Ave., or street parking along La Mesa Blvd.
The Adult Enrichment Center is located along MTS Route 852 at the La Mesa Blvd. & University Ave stop. It is just a 100 foot walk to the facility. Or take the Orange Line Trolley, to the La Mesa Blvd. station and walk ½ mile east on La Mesa Blvd.
