Working With Our Community
The Community Resources Unit’s Crime Prevention Specialist administers the Neighborhood Watch program and the La Mesa Police Department’s Citizens Academy.
Volunteers
The Retired Senior Volunteer Patrol (RSVP) program also operates as part of the Community Resources Unit. RSVP volunteers donate their time to patrol the city, conduct a vacation security check, visit elderly and home bound residents, and provide information and services to the public.
