Downtown Village Parking Permit Program
About the Program
The Downtown Village Parking Permit Program was established to improve management of the supply of municipal parking downtown and to provide businesses and employees with affordable parking. Permit holders are exempted from parking meter fees and two- or four-hour parking time limits, thus eliminating the need feed parking meters or move vehicles when parked in designated permit parking areas.
NEW! Purchasing a Permit
The Parking Permit Program is getting a makeover! On July 1, 2021 the City of La Mesa will introduce a new web-based system for the purchase of parking permits. The new system will allow permit purchasers to buy permits easily and securely from any location with an internet connection, whether that's home, the office, or another convenient location. In addition to convenient online ordering and payment, we've added an annual permit option and a feature for printing a temporary permit for display until your permit sticker arrives in the mail. You can read more about the new system and other key program changes in the documents below.
